Discover with me some of the benefits from practicing Yoga.
I began practicing yoga during a particularly hectic time in my life while living in Milan. I was seeking a calm and peaceful space to recharge. Within just a few months, I realized how transformative it could be if I continued on this path.
In fact, maintaining a regular yoga practice has several benefits. Your body and mind become more in harmony as a result, and you experience a deeper and lighter state of awareness.
If you are also a passionate about climbing like me, you will have experienced how much climbing itself becomes a true form of yoga and meditation. It’s a moving meditation, it’s a flow. Both disciplines bring us close with ourselves, with our emotions and fears, with the limits of our bodies and minds. Climbing is an activity which challenges our minds as much as our bodies — perhaps even more. The same thing we can say about yoga, both on and off the mat. We unroll our mat to move our body and find ourselves working on the deepest part of us.
The relationship and connection between yoga and climbing has become more evident in recent years, and many climbers now choose to integrate yoga into their practice to improve their vertical skills.
If you’d like to join me online, I offer weekly classes – mainly Ashtanga Vinyasa or other dynamic flows, that are accessible to all levels.
